In Colombia, 16 people were killed in an accident involving a school bus that fell into a ravine. This was reported on December 14 by the newspaper El Tiempo.

According to the newspaper, the accident occurred in the department of Antioquia on the road leading to the municipality of Segovia. According to preliminary data, a tourist bus carrying schoolchildren lost control and fell into a cliff. According to various estimates, there were from 35 to 45 people in the vehicle.

The governor of the department of Antioquia, Andres Julian Rendon, said that at the moment more than 10 dead and 20 injured have been reported.

"The entire hospital complex has been activated to provide assistance in this emergency situation," he wrote on the social network X (ex.Twitter).

Rescue services continue to work at the scene, and dozens of injured people were urgently taken to medical facilities in Segovia and Remedios.

On the same day, an accident occurred in Rzeszow, Poland, with a tourist bus from Belarus, after which 14 Belarusian citizens were hospitalized. It is specified that the victims received minor and moderate injuries. They receive medical care in five institutions in Rzeszow.
