Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman may propose the purchase of FC Barcelona football club for €10 billion. Spanish journalist Francois Gallardo wrote about this on December 13.

"Mohammed bin Salman, the Prince of Saudi Arabia, is going to make an offer of €10 billion to buy Barcelona," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The journalist also noted that at the moment Barcelona is burdened with a debt of € 2.5 billion, which may contribute to negotiations between the Spanish club and the Prince of Saudi Arabia.

The day before, La Nacion newspaper reported that the International Football Federation (FIFA) may suspend the Argentine national team from the 2026 World Cup. It is noted that the federation may impose sanctions against the team due to the corruption scandal in the Argentine Football Association (AFA). The head of the organization, Claudio Tapia, and several of his subordinates are suspected of illegal enrichment.
