A resident of Kazan sold a Dolina withdrawal card to fraudsters

A resident of Kazan, who is on maternity leave, sold her bank card for 20 thousand rubles to persons involved in a fraudulent scheme to withdraw funds from singer Larisa Dolina, and is now obliged to pay the artist 15 million rubles. This became known on December 14 from court documents reviewed by Izvestia.

The woman, who was experiencing financial difficulties, remotely issued a card at the suggestion of a new acquaintance, bought a new phone and a SIM card, and then handed it all over to him, receiving 20,000 rubles in cash. After this meeting, their contacts stopped.

The court granted the claim of Dolina's lawyers to recover the amounts stolen by the fraudsters from the account holders. As an argument, the defendant referred to difficult life circumstances — having a child and debts.

In addition to this resident of Kazan, nine other defendants appear in the lawsuit. According to the court decision, the total amount that they are obliged to return to Larisa Dolina is about 54 million rubles.

This case is part of a large-scale investigation of the so-called "Valley scheme", in which fraudsters stole money by making loans to famous people without their knowledge.

But buyers began to check homeowners more carefully.

The scandal surrounding Dolina's apartment occurred due to the sale of real estate and its subsequent return to the singer's ownership. Svetlana Sviridenko, the lawyer of the buyer of Polina Lurie's apartment, said on December 8 that at the time of the transaction there was no doubt about the sanity of the actress. On the same day, it became known that Dolina, in her lawsuit against the buyer of the apartment, stated that she had not shown reasonable care in concluding the transaction.

On December 5, Lurie rejected Dolina's proposal for a settlement agreement related to the fraud case as unacceptable. The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation will consider the dispute over Dolina's apartment on December 16. The materials of the singer's civil case were transferred to the judge of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation for consideration.
