The farewell ceremony for the deceased head of Reutov will be held on December 15.
The farewell ceremony for the head of the Moscow suburb of Reutov, Philip Naumenko, will take place on December 15 at the local Trinity Church, the science city administration reported on December 14.
"The farewell ceremony for Philip Anatolyevich Naumenko will be held at the Trinity Church of Reutov (3 Pobedy St.)," the authorities said on their Telegram channel.
Those who wish to say goodbye will be able to visit the church from 10:00 to 12:00. According to TASS, after the ceremony, Naumenko will be buried at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery.
Naumenko's death became known on December 13, the head of Reutov died at the age of 39. On December 7, a man was involved in a traffic accident, as a result of which he suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and fell into a coma. Despite the efforts of the doctors, it was not possible to save the mayor.
Naumenko was a member of the United Russia party and headed Reutov since 2023, first as acting and then as the elected mayor of the city. Previously, he worked as an adviser in the Moscow City Duma and was a deputy in Balashikha.
