Police officers in the Australian state of New South Wales have identified one of the men who opened fire on people on a beach in Sydney. This was reported by ABC TV channel, citing a law enforcement source.

It is specified that one of the shooters was Narvid Akram, who lived in the Bonnyrigg area in southwest Sydney.

As ABC pointed out, police are searching his home as part of an investigation into the attack.
