In the Saratov region, strong winds damaged power transmission lines in 205 settlements. This was announced on December 14 by the governor of the region Roman Busargin.

"As a result of strong gusts of wind and falling trees, power lines in 205 settlements were damaged. The elimination of accidents continues around the clock. 59 brigades are working," the head of the region wrote on his Telegram channel.

Gusts of wind also caused roof damage in a number of schools, hospitals and residential buildings.
