An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was destroyed in the sky over the Smolensk region by the air defense forces. This was announced on December 14 by the governor of the region Vasily Anokhin.

"Last night, the air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense shot down one UAV in the Smolensk region. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or damage," his Telegram channel says.
