In Mannheim, Germany, three people were injured during an emergency landing by a single-engine aircraft on a busy street during the day. This was reported on December 13 by the Tadessai publication.
It is specified that the 23-year-old pilot, his 23-year-old partner and a 37-year-old man were on board.
"The pilot suffered serious injuries, while the other two passengers suffered only minor injuries. All passengers were taken to the nearest hospitals," the publication says.
Police, 12 emergency personnel and 19 firefighters were on duty at the scene of the incident in case of a fire.
The German Federal Office for the Investigation of Aviation Accidents is checking the circumstances of the incident, while the reason for the emergency landing has not yet been established.
Earlier, on December 13, it was reported that the fallen side was discovered using an Mi-8 helicopter. The Western Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia and the regional prosecutor's office organized checks on the incident.
Later it became known that rescuers handed over to the doctors the pilot and passenger of the new light-engine aircraft that crashed on the territory of the airfield near Moscow. It was clarified that the Federal Air Transport Agency classified the incident as an accident.
