During an interview with the American TV channel Newsmax TV, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko asked not to ask him "nasty questions" about Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping and American leader Donald Trump. This was reported on December 13 by the Telegram channel Pool One, which is close to the Belarusian leader.

"I am a staunch Trump supporter. I have a relative, a close relative, the president of Russia. And there is a very good friend of mine, from ancient times, even before the time when he led the state — this is Xi Jinping. Therefore, don't ask any nasty questions about these three people," Lukashenko said.

However, the politician further added that this was a joke.

Earlier, on December 13, Lukashenko received a personal message from Trump and his wife Melania. The American president and First Lady thanked Belarus for the constant hospitality towards the US delegation and the gifts from the Belarusian leader, and also congratulated Lukashenko on the upcoming Christmas.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
