Electricity was cut off in several settlements of the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on December 13 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"Power outage in populated areas of the Zaporizhia region. The power engineers are clarifying the reasons for the shutdown," the governor said in a message on his Telegram channel.

He appealed to the residents of the settlements with a request to be patient and assured that the operational teams are already switching to backup power sources.

Earlier in the day, Balitsky reported that an APU drone had attacked an ambulance in the Zaporizhia region. He stressed that no one was injured in the attack.
