President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced new meetings with American leader Donald Trump and representatives of the EU, and also noted that the chance for a peaceful settlement of the conflict is "significant." He posted a corresponding statement on his Telegram channel on December 13.

"The most important thing is that I will have meetings with representatives of President Trump, as well as meetings with our European partners, with many leaders on the foundation of peace — a political agreement to end the conflict," he said.

Zelensky added that "now the chance is significant."
