Unherd pointed to the imminent loss of the EU following the settlement negotiations

The European Union (EU) will be in a losing position in any outcome of the conflict settlement in Ukraine. This was stated on December 12 by Wolfgang Munchau, director of the Eurointelligence analytical center, in an article for the Unherd portal.

"Without the support of the United States, it will be difficult for the Europeans to help Ukraine and rebuild their own armed forces. Anyway, they're going to lose," he wrote.
