A special interactive travel exhibition opened at the Rossiya National Center on December 13. Fairy tales from eight regions of Russia, from Yamal to Kaliningrad, are presented in the fairy forest. Everything is according to the laws of the genre: challenges, new knowledge and vivid emotions await each participant on a unique route.

With the onset of winter, the National Center "Russia" has also become the center of a Russian fairy tale, where guests are greeted by a Firebird, and after going a little deeper, you get into the crystal forest. In this enchanted place, well-known stories come to life. The organizers have prepared at least a dozen interactive panels, including archery at the Frog Princess, the trials of the Dense Forest, Baba Yaga's hut and the pulling of a turnip. By combining all the Christmas tree toys, the magic chest gives predictions for the coming year, and two steps away from it you can look into the well and see your fairy-tale character in the reflection.

The fabulous journey will feature products and images from eight regions of Russia.: from the delicate lace of the Vologda region to the runic texts of Karelia and the myths of Kaliningrad.

A separate complex is dedicated to the works of Pushkin. There is a scientist cat and a golden chain, and the guests, with the help of imagination and neural networks, will have to complete the palace on Buyan Island from the "Tale of Tsar Saltan".

"We are sending our drawing, which will appear on the big screen, and after a short download it will turn into that beautiful object that can relate to this fairy tale," said Dmitry Kvashin, IT manager at Pavilion.

The exhibition will run until March. Admission is free for everyone.

"Our "Book of Fairy Tales" is absolutely free. Anyone can get here, but with one condition. It is necessary to travel with a guide. Therefore, it is very important for us that you pre—register on our website," said Natalia Virtuozova, General Director of the National Center for Russia.

The National Center "Russia" extends beyond the capital and two branches are preparing to open next week: the first in Krasnoyarsk. It can accommodate up to 4 thousand visitors.

"His main task will be to introduce the residents and guests of the city to the heritage of the international exhibition of Russia. The first visitors will be able to see the exhibition next week. Krasnoyarsk has become inseparable from gastronomy, so, of course, three corners with taiga and Siberian cuisine have appeared on the branch's squares," said Alexander Chernikov, Director of the Siberian Institute for the Development of Creative Industries.

The second branch will be opened in Khanty-Mansiysk. It has five halls dedicated to the achievements of the region: from the archaeological evidence of indigenous peoples and their own "Mammoth" to the modern history of the oil and gas industry.

"The most long–awaited space is the exhibition with the proud title "To see Ugra – to fall in love with Russia", which has more than five halls, modern interactive equipment for children and adults," shared Anton Dereglazov, CEO of Kinoartdekor.

The Winter Wizards Festival is also taking place in the Russia Science Center. On December 13, a production based on the legends of Karelian magicians Pakkain, Talvi Ukko and Halla was shown there. According to Pakkine, he is one of the youngest winter wizards and travels around Karelia selling magical items.
