On December 13, the travel exhibition "The Book of Fairy Tales" opened at the site of the National Center "Russia" in Moscow. Eight Russian regions will show their fabulous stories on it.

"It's a fabulous journey. And we invite everyone to take this journey. The route is set up in such a way that you need to pass different tests. A fairy tale is always a very strict plot: it begins according to certain rules, and then [the hero] must pass tests in order to change and become better," Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the National Center for Russia, told RIA Novosti.

The route of the exhibition begins with the library — treasury of the Firebird, where visitors will be able to see unique museum exhibits. Next is the forest, where eight regions participating in the exhibition tell and show their fairy tales.

The Vologda, Ryazan and Kaliningrad regions, Stavropol Territory, Karelia, Mordovia, Komi Republic and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug are represented in the "Book of Fairy Tales". According to Alexey Besprozvannykh, Governor of the Kaliningrad Region, each region tried to show both its own identity and the connection of its history with the Russian one at the exhibition.

After passing all the tests, visitors will be able to find a Firebird feather, make a wish and see the installation "Feast for the whole World". Also at the end of the exhibition there is a stage for New Year's events of the National Center "Russia".

"One of the most important goals of the National Center "Russia" is to strengthen the sense of national identity, the formation of citizenship of new generations. And, of course, after going through these fairy tales, following this route, children will definitely be proud of the fact that they are citizens of the Russian Federation," said Alexey Zharich, Deputy head of the Presidential Department for Public Projects.

In November, the annual All-Russian action "Wish Tree", which has been uniting Russians for seven years, started at the Rossiya National Center. According to the All—Russian Santa Claus from Veliky Ustyug, the event is a real New Year's miracle that has become a bridge between those people who need any help and those people who are willing to sincerely provide any possible help. Russian President Vladimir Putin also took part in the action. According to tradition, he chose three postcard balls with children's New Year's wishes, which he will fulfill.
