The "yellow" weather danger level has been extended in Moscow and the Moscow region for three days due to ice that may form on the roads. This was announced on December 13 at the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.

"Ice may form on the roads until 21:00 Moscow time on Tuesday, December 16, and the yellow weather level has been extended," TASS quoted the message as saying.

The Hydrometeorological Center noted that this level is average in the color scale of meteorological warnings and indicates potentially dangerous weather conditions. It is also specified that positive temperatures may return to the region at the beginning of the week: on the afternoon of December 16, it is predicted from -3 to +2 degrees with possible light snow.

The "yellow" danger level in the capital was in effect until 00:00 Moscow time on December 13. Until the same time, there is a warning about a possible increase in the north-westerly wind with gusts up to 17 m/s.
