Air defense forces shot down eight Ukrainian drones over Russian regions

Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed eight Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the regions of Russia in five hours. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that the drones were eliminated between 12:00 Moscow time and 17:00 Moscow time by air defense systems on duty.

"Three UAVs are over the Black Sea, two UAVs are over the territory of the Belgorod region, one UAV is over the territory of the Bryansk region, one UAV is over the territory of the Kursk Region and one UAV is over the Sea of Azov," the ministry said.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that 41 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed over the regions of Russia overnight. In particular, 28 UAVs were eliminated over the territory of the Saratov region, four were shot down over the territory of the Voronezh and Rostov regions. Two drones were destroyed in the Belgorod region and over the territory of the Republic of Crimea. One UAV was intercepted over the territory of the Volgograd region.
