Politicians Viktor Babariko and Maria Kolesnikova are among those pardoned by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. This was reported on December 13 by the Reuters news agency.

"Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko released 123 prisoners on Saturday, including Nobel Peace Prize laureate Alexei Bialitsky. <..> [Maria] was also released. Kolesnikova <...> and Viktor Babariko," the article says.
