On December 13, the Turkish Foreign Ministry called for an end to attacks on port infrastructure in the framework of the Ukrainian conflict. The corresponding statement was published on the agency's website.

"We emphasize once again the importance of <...> ensuring the safety of navigation and suspending attacks on energy and port infrastructure by the parties in order to prevent escalation in the Black Sea," the message says.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry also called on Russia and Ukraine to cease fire and resolve the conflict.

The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly stressed that strikes are carried out exclusively against military and energy facilities of Ukraine and related infrastructure.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had defeated the facilities of the Ukrainian port infrastructure, which was used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). In addition to the port facilities, Russian troops also hit ammunition depots and locations of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries. The strikes were carried out in 142 districts.
