Two children died in a fire in a private house in the Tver region.
Two young children died as a result of a fire in a private house in the village of Ignatovo, Tver region. This was announced on December 13 by the regional directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
"The investigative department of the regional Investigative Committee of Russia received a message about the fire of a private house located in the village of Ignatovo, inside which there were two young children. Upon their death <...> a pre—investigation check has been organized," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that investigators and criminologists of the Investigative Committee went to the scene, who, together with the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, are conducting an inspection. Forensic medical and fire technical examinations will be appointed to determine the exact cause of death of the children, the source and the causes of the fire.
On November 11, a fire broke out in the village of Oktemtsy in the Khangalassky district of Yakutia, which killed five people, including two children. It was noted that the fire brigade was at the scene 5 minutes after the fire was reported. By the time emergency services arrived, the house and garage were engulfed in flames. The regional Prosecutor's office took control of the investigation into the causes of the fire.
