Due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions and a decrease in air temperature, a high-alert regime has been introduced in the Penza region. This was announced on December 13 by Governor Oleg Melnichenko in his Telegram channel.

"Power outages have occurred in a number of areas due to bad weather, and emergency crews are working on the ground. I ask all of you, if possible, to postpone trips and walks today, not to use personal vehicles, not to leave the house unless absolutely necessary," the governor addressed the residents.

Melnichenko also urged residents to take care of themselves and their loved ones and take safety measures in difficult weather conditions.

Earlier, on December 8, it was reported that the Kamchatka Territory was faced with adverse weather, due to which the work of government agencies and organizations, except for life-supporting ones, was switched to remote mode. Residents were advised not to use personal cars if possible, so as not to interfere with the operation of snow removal equipment.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
