Expert Ryzhkova gave tips on protecting shoes from snow and reagents

Winter chemicals and moisture can quickly ruin shoes, so they need proper care. This was announced on December 13 by Olga Ryzhkova, head of the SYNERGETIC knowledge management system, in an interview with Gazeta.Ru».

She warned that white traces of reagents should not be washed off with soap. According to her, such stains are salts and oils, which, if improperly cleaned, only become more deeply embedded in the material. The expert noted that it is better to use special cleaning products with a neutral pH level for care and thoroughly dry shoes away from heating devices.

She also added that shoes should be regularly treated with water-repellent sprays and wax-based creams to protect them from moisture and reagents. This will help to preserve the appearance and extend the service life of the products.
