In case of delays in payment of wages by the employer, the employee may suspend work. Ekaterina Stenyakina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, told about this on December 13.

"After 15 days of salary delay, an employee has the right to suspend work until the entire amount of debt is paid, with the exception of certain categories: military personnel, rescuers, ambulance staff, workers in hazardous industries and others," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
