The fire in the Nikitsky Monastery in Pereslavl-Zalessky has been eliminated

In Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl region, a fire was completely extinguished in one of the buildings of the Nikitsky Monastery. This was announced on December 13 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region in the Max messenger.

The fire area was 250 square meters. m. 18 personnel and 6 pieces of equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia worked at the site.

"Firefighters have eliminated gorenje burning in the dormitory of the Nikitsky monastery. <...> There are no casualties," the department noted.

The investigators of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are considering the emergency operation of the power grid as the preliminary cause of the incident.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the fire in one of the buildings of the Nikitsky Monastery was quickly localized due to the coordinated work of the fire departments and the involvement of additional personnel of the military unit. Dmitry Zyablitsky, the head of the Pereslavl-Zalessky urban district, was personally at the scene and supervised the elimination of the fire.
