The RFU will receive €3.8 million from UEFA as compensation for non-participation in European competitions

The Russian Football Union (RFU) will receive compensation in the amount of € 3.8 million from the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for the non-participation of the Russian team in European competitions. This became known on December 12 from a report published on the UEFA website.

It is noted that the amount of compensation is determined individually for each club. The amount is affected by the country's position in the UEFA ranking and the club's income in the proportions of 70% and 30%, respectively.
