Guards Corporal Vanir Khabibullin completed the task of delivering food and ammunition to the advanced positions of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) units in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the special military operation zone on Saturday, December 13.

It is noted that Khabibullin served as a gunner in the intelligence department. During the delivery, a group of Russian fighters was attacked by enemy kamikaze drones. One of the UAVs exploded next to one of the soldiers, as a result of which he received shrapnel wounds. A Guard corporal provided the necessary assistance to the victim and evacuated him to a safe area. After that, the group continued moving.

Some time later, another Russian soldier was blown up by an antipersonnel mine and suffered a severe leg injury. Risking his own life, Khabibullin helped the wounded man get to the evacuation point through an open area, after which he returned to the task of delivering supplies to the UAV units.

As a result of the fighter's selfless actions, Russian servicemen were provided with food and ammunition in a timely manner, and the lives of the injured members of the group were saved.

The Ministry of Defense also said that Guard Second Lieutenant Sergei Zheltkevich completed the task of carrying the wounded from the line of contact in the area of one of the settlements of the DPR. He supervised the work of the AGS-17 calculations and suppressed enemy reserves, covering the members of the evacuation group.
