A small earthquake was recorded in the Black Sea, 24 km from Sevastopol. This was announced on December 12 by the governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhaev.

According to him, seismologists have registered one aftershock.

"According to experts, weak and regular seismicity is normal," the governor said on the Telegram channel.

Razvozhaev stressed that there is no threat to residents, experts continue to monitor the situation.

Earlier, on December 6, it was reported that an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred in the Lazarevsky district of Sochi. Tremors were felt near the epicenter, but there were no reports of casualties or significant damage.
