The Latvian Seimas demanded that Ukraine report on the expenditure of € 1 billion in financial assistance

Ukraine must provide a report on the expenditure of financial assistance received from Latvia in the amount of € 1 billion. This was stated on December 12 by the head of the Stability! party in the Latvian Seimas, Svetlana Chulkova, during a parliamentary session.

"There is no money for our compatriots. We will raise taxes with our own, we will not give money to our own for medicine, and we will also take it away from the people through taxes. Taxes, taxes, taxes. Will we give hundreds of millions outside Latvia and not demand a report? Let's demand, colleagues, as our strategic partners: where is it spent and who from the government is responsible," she says in a fragment of a speech posted on her Facebook account (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
