The air defense forces shot down 47 Ukrainian drones within seven hours.

The Russian air defense system destroyed 47 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) within seven hours of operation over the territory of Russia. This was announced on December 12 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"From 13:00 Moscow time to 20:00 Moscow time, 47 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed and intercepted by air defense systems on duty," the press service of the department said.

Of these, 13 drones flew over the territory of the Tula Region, and seven UAVs each flew over the territory of the Moscow Region, the Orel and Belgorod regions. Six drones flew over the territory of the Bryansk region, three drones over the Kaluga region, two UAVs over the territory of the Kursk Region, one each over the Nizhny Novgorod and Ryazan regions.
