From December 16 to December 30, New Year's performances for children of participants in the special military operation (SVO) and other privileged categories will be held in the southeastern districts of the capital. The events were organized by the heads of departments and municipalities within the framework of the "Winter in Moscow" project, the prefecture of the Southern Administrative District said.

On December 16, the performance "The Scarlet Flower" with unusual costumes and original music will be shown in Vykhino-Zhulebin. It will be held in the building of the State University of Management. Before the performance, Santa Claus and his assistants will congratulate the children, ask them winter riddles, organize a round dance and present gifts.

A festive program with carnival, contests, sweepstakes and a concert was also prepared in Maryina. The guests will be welcomed on December 19 at Library No. 131 on Bratislava Street.

On December 20, at the I.M. Astakhov Cultural Center in the Lyublino district, children will be shown a New Year's play featuring Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden and other fairy-tale characters. "This year we have distributed more than 400 invitation cards and will do everything to make every child feel our support, plunge into the atmosphere of New Year's magic and receive positive emotions," said Elena Polukhova, deputy head of the district council.

Christmas trees, concerts and festive programs are also planned in Kapotnya, Pechatniki, Lefortovo and other districts.

Winter in Moscow is a seasonal project that includes cultural, educational, and sporting events. Special attention is paid to the support of participants and veterans of the SVO and their families.
