King Charles III of Great Britain will tell in a personal video message to the nation about his fight against cancer. The British newspaper Daily Mail wrote on December 12 that the king had prepared a video as part of the "Fight Cancer 2025" campaign, organized jointly by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.

In his message, the monarch will emphasize the importance of cancer screening programs to ensure early diagnosis and "share his thoughts on his own recovery path."

The publication clarifies that Charles III's video message will become part of the main Channel 4 nightly program and will be shown shortly before the live broadcast from the cancer clinic at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, hosted by presenter Davina McCall, who herself recently underwent treatment for breast cancer.

This year's "Fight Cancer 2025" event is designed to raise awareness of the importance of early diagnosis, as well as raise funds for cancer research and provide support to all those affected by this disease.

In early September, the media reported that the treatment of King Charles III of Great Britain from cancer showed steady positive dynamics. It is noted that Charles met the past year with a "determination to be as public as possible" in order to convince the nation of his capabilities.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
