Cold Arctic masses will cover the Lipetsk region
Arctic air masses will arrive in the Lipetsk region on the night of Saturday, December 13. The cold weather will last until Wednesday, the press service of the regional Center for Hydrometeorology reports.
Already at midnight, the region will be in the rear of the North Atlantic cyclone. The air temperature will drop from 0 to -8 degrees. Snowfall is expected, with snowstorms in some places. Wind gusts will reach 20 m/s, and ice is possible on the roads.
According to Olga Tobolina, the weather forecaster on duty at Lipetsk CGMS, "normal weather within the climatic norm" will set in.
According to GOROD48, the situation will change on Wednesday: the snowfall will stop, the wind will subside, and the thermometer will rise to zero again.
