For the first time, a court in St. Petersburg has ruled to end a civil dispute over the return of an apartment to its former owner, who sold the apartment under the influence of fraudsters. As the head of the joint press service of the city courts, Daria Lebedeva, reported on December 12, the seller and the buyer entered into an amicable agreement.

"In St. Petersburg, for the first time, the court stopped proceedings on the claim of the apartment seller against the buyer according to a widely discussed scheme. During the proceedings, a settlement agreement was concluded between the parties on December 11. The proceedings in the case have been terminated," she said on the Telegram channel.

The spokeswoman added that the ruling is subject to immediate execution.
