Kazan Airport temporarily suspended flights

Temporary restrictions on the departure and landing of civil aircraft have been introduced at Kazan Airport. This was announced on December 12 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"Kazan Airport. Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the reception and release of aircraft," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Korenyako noted that this is necessary to ensure flight safety.

It will not be easy to achieve compensation for moral damage — a large-scale failure may be recognized as force majeure.

Earlier in the day, temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were introduced at Moscow's Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Vnukovo airports. Later, similar measures were taken in Makhachkala, as well as at the airports of Vladikavkaz, Grozny and Magas. They were later removed in Grozny.
