Putin and Erdogan condemn EU attempts to seize Russian assets
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan have agreed that the Europeans' attempts to seize Russian assets threaten to undermine the foundations of the international financial system. This was announced on December 12 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
On the same day, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the country was protesting against the departure from unanimity in the European Union (EU) in connection with the situation of frozen Russian assets.
