The Air Defense Forces shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle flying to Moscow. This was announced on December 12 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense destroyed a UAV flying to Moscow," he wrote on his channel in the MAX messenger.

Sobyanin added that specialists from the emergency services are working at the crash site of the drone.
