A unified network of bike paths will be designed in Ulan-Ude

In Ulan-Ude, a new bicycle road infrastructure will be worked out in detail. The city plans to create a fully-fledged connected network of bike paths.

An interdepartmental group has already been formed to implement the project. Its tasks include determining the optimal corridors for the construction of new tracks, exploring existing routes, and analyzing traffic. This is reported by IA UlanMedia.

The master plan for the development of Ulan-Ude is calculated until 2030. The document was approved at the federal level and secured financing in the amount of 277 billion rubles. It involves a radical restructuring of the urban environment. Priority is given to the development of public transport, as well as the mobility of pedestrians and cyclists.
