Complaints about the lack of gas will be checked in the Novosibirsk region.
The head of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, Alexei Bastrykin, will be informed about the violation of the rights of residents of the Novosibirsk region, according to the department. This was announced on December 11 by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
"The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, A.I. Bastrykin (Alexander Ivanovich — Ed.), instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region, E.G. Dolgalev (Evgeny Gennadyevich — Ed.), to report on the progress of the procedural audit," the Telegram channel said in a publication.
Earlier on the federal TV channel, residents of the Novosibirsk region contacted Russian President Vladimir Putin on a direct line, pointing out the lack of gas supply in their homes.
The investigative authorities of the region are conducting a procedural check on this fact under Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence). Information on the results of the audit will be sent to the head of the department.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that emergency rescue operations at the site of a gas explosion in an apartment building had been completed in the Volgograd region. According to the agency, experts examined the building and decided that the residents of the two entrances can return to their apartments.
On the same day, information was received that four people, including a child, were injured in a gas explosion. The authorities noted that one woman is in intensive care in serious condition. After examining the building, the residents of two entrances returned to their apartments, and 12 apartments in the damaged entrance remain uninhabitable. The residents were offered accommodation in a temporary housing estate, but most temporarily moved in with relatives and friends.
