Military personnel of the North group of forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have organized a secret underground laboratory for working with drones in the area of a special military operation. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on December 12.

"Military science, which everyone should master in the future — at least, that's what they think in the platoon of unmanned systems. After all, in case of an extreme situation, someone from other military personnel should take over control. And this skill should be taught here in about a month," Denis Kulaga, a correspondent for Izvestia, reported from the scene.

The space of the laboratory, which stretches for several kilometers, is also used to train military personnel in the management of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It is noted that the acquired skills will be relevant and in demand even in civilian specialties.

"Agriculture, flights on agro drones. The Ministry of Emergency Situations — drones are also present there to monitor and eliminate emergencies. Control over certain territories. In general, it will be possible to find a profession that will be really needed and in demand," said a serviceman with the call sign Baikal.

Within the walls of the laboratory, work is carried out not only on aircraft, but also on ground-based drones.

A day earlier, the operators of the Vostok group of forces' unmanned systems destroyed an American M1117 armored personnel carrier and disrupted the rotation of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Gulyai-Pole area of the Zaporizhia region. The forest plantations adjacent to the city are under tight fire control of the Russian unmanned contingent, which does not allow the enemy to rotate, bring reserves and deliver ammunition.
