Russian units of the Dnepr group of forces' unmanned systems carried out precise strikes on equipment and infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. This was reported on December 12 in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the agency, aerial reconnaissance detected Ukrainian personnel and equipment in the area of abandoned buildings. An FPV drone strike group was deployed to defeat the targets. The first to be destroyed was the BvS 10 armored personnel carrier, which was used to transport supplies, after which the strike hit the identified supply point.

The commander of one of the companies of the unmanned systems of the 18th Combined Arms Army noted that his unit performs round-the-clock monitoring and delivers targeted strikes, despite difficult weather conditions and the active use of electronic warfare (EW) by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, recently the calculations "hit the control points of enemy drones, an armored personnel carrier and warehouses with materiel."

The Defense Ministry added that units of the Dnepr group of forces identify and destroy up to two hundred targets every month, ensuring stable fire control in the area.

Earlier, on December 11, it was reported that the operators of the Vostok group's unmanned systems destroyed an American M1117 armored personnel carrier and disrupted the rotation of AFU units in the Gulyai-Pole area. The reconnaissance drone recorded the movement of the equipment, after which it was hit by several UAVs. Later, FPV drones hit another vehicle with manpower, which complicated the delivery of reserves and ammunition to the Ukrainian side.
