"We will go to a meeting on Saturday in Europe if we think there is a good chance of success, and we don't want to waste a lot of time," Trump said, answering questions from reporters.

He also expressed confidence that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does not support Washington's plan to resolve the conflict.
