Russians explained the procedure for complaints for non-payment of overwork
Employees who are not compensated by their employers for overtime hours can contact the labor inspectorate or the prosecutor's office. This was announced on December 11 by Evgeny Masharov, a member of the commission of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation for the public examination of draft laws.
"If the employer violates the processing procedure and refuses to pay for it, I recommend writing a statement about this fact addressed to the supervisor in two copies. Give one copy to the employer, and on the second one the boss should put a mark that he accepted it," the TASS expert explained.
He added that if an attempt to resolve the issue peacefully did not bring results, you should contact higher authorities — the labor inspectorate, the prosecutor's office or the court.
For non-payment of overtime or late payment of wages, the employer faces a fine under Part 6 of Article 5.27 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation: up to 20 thousand rubles for officials, up to 5 thousand for entrepreneurs and up to 50 thousand for legal entities.
Earlier, on October 31, it was reported that the main fear of working Russians was emotional burnout, which was noted by 42% of respondents. Delays or salary reductions were in second place (35%), and excessive workload with previous pay was in third place.
