The political scientist spoke about the strengthening of positions during the liberation of Seversk by Russia

By liberating Seversk, Russia has strengthened its position in the peace process. Political scientist Ivan Mezyuho shared this opinion with Izvestia on December 12.

According to him, the liberation of Seversk allowed the Russian forces to occupy an advantageous strategic position, which strengthens their negotiating positions.

"Resources are running out. The Americans are pressing and pushing Kiev to decide on a peaceful settlement," the political scientist noted.

He added that against the background of Washington's pressure, the Ukrainian side is losing settlements one by one, while Russian troops continue their offensive.

"It is obvious that we are strengthening our positions in the framework of the peace process," the sources stressed.
