The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) transferred a Ukrainian servicewoman to an assault unit for contacts with a fellow soldier who was captured by Russia. This was reported on December 11.

"The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has "zeroed out" the female head of the medical center of the 156th separate mechanized brigade for communicating with her friend in captivity," RIA Novosti quoted the source as saying.

It is reported that Andrei Gavlitsky, a soldier of the 156th brigade, was captured. The head of the battalion's medical center, Yarina Mruc, was Havlitsky's friend and exchanged video messages with him.

It was clarified that the correspondence continued for a long time, however, when Mrut's colleagues complained to the command, the lieutenant was transferred to the most intense area in the assault unit and was actually "reset," the source said.
