Andrey Svintsov, Deputy Head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, suggested speeding up the transition of Russian companies to domestic digital developments through regulatory measures. He stated this on December 11.

"[Domestic solutions] are practically not being implemented in our enterprises, because there simply is no magic pendulum. Everyone thinks that everything will be the same in six months or a year, so they don't itch. Among other things, it is necessary to tighten the regulatory screws in order for business to move faster," the TASS parliamentarian emphasized.

According to him, many companies still store data in foreign clouds, which makes them accessible to Western intelligence agencies.

Earlier, on December 10, it was reported that Google's property in France was seized at the request of the Russian subsidiary Google LLC in the framework of the bankruptcy case. The arrest was introduced as an interim measure to prevent the withdrawal of assets and protect the interests of Russian creditors.
