The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has denied Russian Sergey Ardashev a neutral status to participate in the World Cup. This was announced on December 11 by Sport-Express.

"Rejected. Next time...," Ardashev himself wrote on a social network.

It is noted that skiers Savely Korostelev and Daria Nepryaeva received previously neutral statuses. They will perform at the final stage of the World Cup in Davos on December 13-14, qualifying for the 2026 Olympic Games.

Earlier, on December 10, it was reported that the FIS decision to allow only two Russian skiers to be selected caused criticism in Russia.
