Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Ashgabat. His plane landed in the capital of Turkmenistan on December 12.

Earlier in the day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that the Russian leader would take part in the Peace and Trust forum in Ashgabat. In addition, he is expected to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
