The official days off this year begin on December 31 and will last until January 11. With the right approach, you can be able to extend your vacation by taking a minimum of paid vacation days, the expert explained.
The specialist added that if it is not possible to arrange a vacation before the New Year, you can take a few days after the holidays, but this is not the best solution from a financial point of view.
"January is not the most profitable month for a vacation, as it consists of only 15 working days. In this case, the cost of one working day increases and may be more than how much you would receive for one day of vacation, which is calculated based on average earnings," she concluded.
