Overhaul of another school started in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow region

Major repairs of school No. 6 have started in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow Region. The press service of the regional Ministry of the Construction complex announced this on Thursday, December 11.

We are talking about the building at 11 Yefremova Street. The contractor has already entered the facility and started dismantling work.

"School No. 6 is in for a major upgrade. By September 1, 2027, the builders will have to carry out major repairs of the building built in 1960," said Alexander Turovsky, Minister of the construction complex of the region.

The total area of the school building is about 10 thousand square meters. m. The renovation project provides for the renovation of the facade and roof, the replacement of engineering networks, the installation of video surveillance and fire safety systems, as well as repairs in the premises, the installation of new furniture and equipment, landscaping of the surrounding area.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the repairs are carried out within the framework of the state program "Construction and overhaul of social infrastructure facilities in the Moscow region" of the national project "Youth and Children". Funds for the work have been allocated from the regional budget.

On November 1, it was reported that the overhaul of secondary school No. 5 with in-depth study of individual subjects started in Naro-Fominsk. The builders will have to repair the facade and roof, carry out interior decoration, equip the entrance group, replace utilities and improve the surrounding area.
