The operation to find the hunter continues in Kamchatka. Contact with him was lost back in mid-November. On Thursday, December 11, a group of rescuers, police officers and volunteers set off on foot to explore the area.

According to the KamchatkaMedia news agency with reference to the press service of the KGKU "Data Center", on November 16, the hunter left the village of Esso and went to the Malaya Romanovka River area of the Bystrinsky district. Soon he stopped contacting us. The hunter's family thought his radio was broken, but the man never returned.

Relatives contacted the 112 system only on December 8. Rescuers managed to determine where the missing person could presumably be. Two rescuers, a police officer and two volunteers went to the hunter's hut 47 km from the village of Esso.

On the spot, it turned out that the hut had been partially destroyed, presumably by a bear. However, no traces of the missing man's presence near the building have been found.

On December 10, a group of rescuers went by helicopter to inspect the alleged location of the hunter. They surveyed an area of about 42,600 hectares. But the search turned out to be fruitless. The ground search has now begun.

On December 8, Gennady Kabanov, Deputy head of the Penza Fire and Rescue Center, called out the versions of what happened to the Usoltsev family in the taiga. The Usoltsev family, who disappeared in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, could get lost and freeze in the forest. Kabanov noted that the Usoltsevs probably just got lost, and fatigue, hunger and cold led to their deaths. After that, their bodies could become prey to wild animals. In this case, it will be extremely difficult to find traces of the Usoltsevs.
