The victims of the explosion at Perm Polytechnic are a father and his minor daughter, the press service of the institution reported on December 11.
"Two people were killed — a man, the head of the enterprise that produced the sample (he is not an employee of PNRPU) and his minor daughter," the report says.
An investigation is currently underway into why she was at the facility in violation of safety regulations.
Three people were also injured in the emergency — representatives of one of the Perm enterprises that are not employees of PNRPU: men aged 64 and 37.
